UBC NiteHike

UBC Nite Hike is a huge yearly Scouting event run at Pacific Spirit Park. Participants hike all night (6pm-6am) throughout the park and tackle tasks at different stations set up by local groups. For example, the 25th Dunbar Venturers hosted a storm-the-wall station.

Our MedVents team was the sole provider of medical care for this event, which had 864 youth hikers and 328 adult hikers! We did an excellent job, no serious injuries or casualties, and lots of teaching the groups how to be prepared in the case of emergency. Way to go MedVents!
