MEDVENTS
Youth-led first aid, training and community service in Vancouver.
We empower youth who are interested in first aid and medical careers by providing support with certification training, hands-on skills practice, and real-world experience at community events. Through team-building and youth-led initiatives, we foster leadership, confidence, and a passion for helping others!

Events
We provide services for local events across Vancouver. Contact us with a request, and we will do our utmost to provide our support!
Guest Speakers
We welcome speakers with expertise in the medical field to run sessions to let MedVents gain a breadth of skills and knowledge.
First Aid Certification
We work with instructors to support MedVents getting their certifications and to provide ongoing training to keep their skills up-to-date.
Scouts Canada
MedVents (Medical Venturers) operates under the Scouts Canada umbrella; we are associated with the 25th Dunbar Scout Group.
As a subsection of Scouts Canada, we are committed to help develop well-rounded youth, better prepared for success in the world.
MedVents volunteer to teach basic first aid skills to Scouting youth age 5 to 14, consistent with the Scouts Canada Emergency Aid Skills badges.
What We Do
In May of each year, MedVents from all of British Columbia gather for a weekend camp to practise emergency first aid skills with professional first responders including paramedics, firefighters, ground and marine search and rescue.
